The rumors on Google using human human operators to tweak their algo seem to be true: It’s one of the best kept secrets of Google. It’s a mystery on Webmasterworld. Also in Europe (France) they don’t know what to expect from that odd URL
German reporter Henk van Ess unveiled today the secret behind eval.google.com. Nobody really new what it was for. When you visit the website nothing shows up. Apparently, you have to have the right credentials or a known network to be able to see it.
It is a portal for people hired from all over the world to manually rate pages and track what’s going on. Weed spam out and fine tweak the search results on google.
